There are few more loathsome figures in American life today than Dr. Anthony Fauci. This demented media-hound should have been put out to pasture years ago, but here he still is at 80-years of age proving, among other things, that elections don’t much matter.

For crying out loud, you could not have more contrasting political ideologies and cultures than between the Trump and Biden White Houses. Yet this fear-mongering, power-seeking bag of wind wound up on the top of the public health policy heap in both administrations, reminding us once again that what the voters or their elected officials think about matters is more or less beside the point.
