America’s raging clown show would be entertaining if it were not so dangerous. Still, during the last 24 hours we have descended even deeper into both conditions—a realm of such blithering stupidity as to suggest that America is being punked by the fiscal equivalent of a Sacha Baron Cohen movie.
Actually, the Donald got punked by Cohen years ago, but his statements about the Congress’ $2.3 trillion Corona Relief abomination apparently didn’t even need promoting by Kazakhstan’s favorite son:
“I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000 or $4,000 for a couple,” he said in a tweeted video.
“It wasn’t their fault. It was China’s fault.”
OK, the Donald is a spent force making a pathetic fool of himself as the clock ticks down to his exit from the Oval Office.
