Falling Apples And The Casino’s Issac Newton Moment

Back in the day, every school kid knew the legend that young Isaac Newton was bonked on the head by a falling apple, which triggered the “aha moment” when the law of gravity came to be understood by mankind.

Last night another Apple dropped and you would think that a casino allegedly full of like and similar geniuses might have taken note of the ensueing thud. After all, this particular falling Apple weighed in at $73 billion worth of lost market cap when it struck hard upon the already tattered party hats that remained in the casino.
