Behold, The King Of Debt Hath Truly Come!

We think the chart below is an eye-opener, and not merely because it shows the relentless rise of Federal spending. More to the point, not only were $3.896 trillion of annual outlays posted in 2014 the product of 225 years of trying by Uncle Sam, but it now appears quite certain that the annual deficit in FY 2020 will actually be larger.

That’s right. Owing to the mushrooming coast-to-coast soup lines hastily stood up by Washington in response to the collapse of jobs, incomes and business cash flows brought on by Lockdown Nation, as well as the evaporation of tax revenues, Uncle Sam will borrow more this year than his total spending just six years ago.
