$9 Nat Gas: More Trump Derangement Syndrome

The chart of soaring natural gas prices shown below might as well be blamed on Donald Trump. The antipathy and loathing he generated in Imperial Washington by the sheer force of his uncouth, bombastic persona is what ultimately unleashed the Ukrainian Calamity and the heaving and whip-lashing global economic dislocations that have resulted from the Sanctions War.

To be sure, he did win the 2016 election sort of fair and square (i.e. in the electoral college, not the popular vote) and had every right, therefore, to pursue his dog’s breakfast of anti-establishment, nationalistic, protectionist, easy money, big spending, anti-media and law & order nostrums.
