When you have to learn something about economics from the Chicoms, then a nadir of literacy and sobriety is truly at hand.

Let’s cut to the chase. The Fed is at once an engine of virulent inflation and also the cause of a massive shift of wealth to the tippy-top of the economic ladder.

You really cannot curse Donald Trump enough for his horrid appointments to the Fed. The latter is now and has been for a good while the implacable enemy of sound money, fiscal rectitude, capitalist prosperity, small government and personal liberty.

Foxified conservatives can get themselves lathered-up to rip-roaring rhetorical expectorations about Sleepy Joe’s failing mental acuity. But maybe its time they turned their guns on the apparently somnolent Elmer Fudd who currently passes for Fed Chair—a position from which more damage can be done than even the Oval Office.

Among Donald Trump’s multitudinous sins, his stacking the Fed with even more clueless Keynesian money-printers ranks near the top; and, in particular, the appointment of Richard Clarida as Fed Vice Chair was downright unforgivable.

There have been few politicians in modern times who have done more to undermine personal liberty, capitalist prosperity, small government and especially world peace than the Cheney Clan. So upon Liz Cheney’s pending ouster from the #3 job in the US House GOP hierarchy, we say: Good riddance!

Are they really this pitifully stupid?

The financial press is gumming gravely today about the 266,000 jobs print for April, noting that it is the worst “miss” since 1998, given that more than 1.0 million new jobs were expected.

Here’s a good one. Sleepy Joe said something sensible on fiscal matters yesterday, thereby causing the left-progressives swarming around the White House to get their panties in a real bunch.

We have no use for Donald Trump, but even less for the arrogant lefty twit, Mark Zuckerberg, who joined a conspiracy of Silicon Valley Robber Barons on January 6th to ban a then sitting president of the United States from their social media platforms.
